Our Peanuts
Peanuts are at the heart of what we do. Naturally rich in healthy fats, protein, and essential nutrients, they’re a powerhouse of energy. We use hi-oleic peanuts, celebrated for their superior nutritional benefits, including heart-healthy monounsaturated fats that support long lasting energy and vitality.
Peanuts are the most water-efficient "nut," needing just 3.2 gallons of water per ounce, compared to 28.7 gallons for almonds. Their deep roots replenish soil nitrogen, reducing the need for fertilisers and supporting future crops. A small but mighty climate hero!
Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) may have “nut” in their name, but they’re actually legumes, just like beans and lentils. Originally from South America, they’ve been fueling people for centuries.
Peanuts contain more protein per 100g (25.8 grams), than the many familiar protein sources including:
Hazelnuts: 15g, Almonds: 21g, Cashews: 18g, Lentils: 9g, Oats: 11g, Quinoa: 16g, Chickpeas: 19g
Peanuts are a superfood, with more protein than any nut (7g per serving), packed with fiber, healthy fats, and 30+ essential nutrients. Backed by research, they support long-term health while being planet-friendly.
Plants, Roots, and Herbs: A Forgotten Power
Nature has always provided us with what we need to thrive, yet many of its gifts are often overlooked. At aum alchemy, we’re dedicated to rediscovering the magic of plants, roots, and herbs that have supported humanity for millennia. From organic adaptogenic powders to nutrient dense herbs, every ingredient in our blends is thoughtfully chosen to honour the mind, body and soul connection.
By using these natural, plant-based ingredients, we aim to rekindle an appreciation for their forgotten power and bring their benefits into your daily life in the simplest way possible.
Rediscover the Magic of Nature
Each adaptogen we use carries a story an ancient wisdom revered for its ability to support mind, body, or soul. These sacred plants have been honoured for centuries, offering balance, resilience, and nourishment. Their essence guided the creation of our blends, each flavour inspired by the qualities these botanicals have long been cherished for.
Below, explore the unique plants and herbs that infuse our butter with their timeless magic.
Lion’s Mane Mushroom
Lion’s Mane mushroom, with its cascading white tendrils, has been cherished in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries as a tonic for clarity and focus. Native to Asia, this mushroom is revered for its ability to support cognitive function and memory, often referred to as “nature’s brain food.”
While modern science has begun to explore its potential in neuroprotection and focus, we’ve chosen Lion’s Mane for its deeper symbolism: a reminder to pause, sharpen the mind, and approach life with thoughtful intention.
Maca Root
Maca root, also known as “Peruvian ginseng,” grows high in the Andes mountains, where it has been cultivated for over 2,000 years. This ancient root has long been valued by Incan warriors for its ability to enhance stamina, strength, and resilience in harsh environments.
Rich in essential nutrients, maca root is known for supporting energy, hormonal balance, and endurance. For us, it’s about grounding the body in strength and vitality, giving you the energy to fully embrace your day.
Turmeric
Turmeric, with its vibrant golden hue, is often called the “spice of life” in Ayurvedic traditions. Indigenous to South Asia, it has been used for thousands of years to support overall wellness, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
In yogic and holistic practices, turmeric is seen as a purifier, a tool for cleansing the body and uplifting the spirit. We include turmeric as an offering to your soul, inspiring a connection to the deeper self and the natural world around you.
